The well preserved fortification wall wraps the old town, castle, synagogue and historic church. Many fans of knightly tournaments and medieval times are drawn to this town each year. My visit in Szydłów was part of two-day outdoor photography event organized by photographic group "PRECEL" (presently non existent) from Gliwice and the townhall of Szydłów. Photographs taken by the group were used in creation of an photo album promoting the town and as well in a few exhibitions in Silesia and Szydłów
